The former Blackpool manager has not won at Burnley in 11 visits, losing eight, the latest of which came courtesy of Junior Stanislas’ 82nd-minute winner on Saturday. Holloway felt the goal came at a period when the Eagles were on top, and he said: “I thought we were fantastic in the second half. “The goal came against the run of play but how we haven’t got at least a point I do not know. “I think there was a spell in the first half where our positioning wasn’t good enough, but that got better and we looked bright. “We pinned them back into their half but unfortunately I thought their defence played very well.” He has also been frustrated by speculation linking wide man Wilfried Zaha with a £12m move to Manchester United - and by some of the treatment dished out to the 20-year-old at the Turf.
